How To Help

To fund our programs, Harvest Project relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses, service clubs, and churches in the community. (About 5% of our cash funding was provided by local governments in 2016.)

We’re a registered Canadian charity and so we’re able to issue official receipts for gifts received, thereby reducing income tax payable for individuals and taxable income for corporate donors.

You can make a donation using cashchequeVISAMasterCard, or regular/pre-authorized deposit  in one of these ways:

  • Donate Online by clicking on the yellow button on this page
  • In person or by mail or phone ( at 604-983-9488 x315)

We welcome gifts of RRSPs, life insurance policies, stocks/bonds/mutual funds, trusts, and annuities. Proper planning of a future gift can maximize tax savings and estate planning benefits, while helping to sustain Harvest Project. For individuals, charitable donations to Harvest Project can earn you a tax credit. Here is a link to the Canada Revenue Agency’s tax calculator.

Businesses can contribute to Harvest Project by enabling employees to donate through payroll and matching deductions, sharing our story through your newsletter, website, or other platform, donating to ‘Adopt A Family’, donating your company’s service or product or hosting a fundraiser.
