How To Help

To fund our programs, Harvest Project relies on the generosity of individuals, businesses, service clubs, and churches in the community.

We’re a registered Canadian charity and so we’re able to issue official receipts for gifts received, thereby reducing income tax payable for individuals and taxable income for corporate donors. (About 5% of our cash funding was provided by local governments in 2016.)

You can make a donation using cashchequeVISAMasterCard, or regular/pre-authorized deposit  in one of these ways:

  • Donate Online by clicking on the yellow button on this page
  • In person or by mail
  • By phone (604-983-9488 x315)
  • Through United Way (you must designate to ‘Harvest Project’)

Businesses can use these additional methods of contributing to Harvest Project:

  • Enabling employees to donate through payroll deductions
  • Matching employee donations
  • Share our story through your newsletter, website, or other platform
  • Sponsoring a Harvest Project program
  • Donating your company’s service or product
  • Providing a staff member for a given period or project
  • Hosting a fundraiser to benefit Harvest Project
Please contact us if you would like to support your community with one of these ideas.
